1. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, we collect: (1) Bookings: name, email, phone number, check-in/check-out dates, number of guests, and any special requests you provide; (2) Member accounts: WeChat sign-in identifier (openId), nickname, membership tier and points; (3) Community: posts and comments you publish (nickname and content); (4) Inquiries & co-creation: contact details and messages submitted via forms, crowdfunding backing records; (5) Newsletter: your email address; (6) Automatic collection: with your consent to analytics, visit information collected by Baidu Analytics (CN site) or Google Analytics (global site).
2. How We Use Information
To: (1) process and fulfil your bookings; (2) send order and itinerary notifications (email or WeCom); (3) respond to your inquiries; (4) display your content in the community; (5) send marketing newsletters you subscribed to (unsubscribe anytime); (6) improve our services. We never sell your personal information.
3. Storage & Cross-Border Transfer
Your personal information is stored on cloud servers located outside mainland China (Tencent Cloud international node). Pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), we hereby inform you that your data is stored and processed abroad, protected by encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls and audit logging.
4. Cookies & Analytics
Essential cookies keep the website functional. Analytics tools (Baidu Analytics on the CN site / Google Analytics 4 globally) are loaded only after you accept via the cookie banner; you may choose "essential only" to decline and clear such data in your browser.
5. Third-Party Sharing
We share only the necessary data with: payment processors (WeChat Pay, Alipay, Stripe, PayPal — to complete transactions); email delivery (Resend); customer-service notifications (WeCom); map displays (AMap / Google Maps); analytics (Baidu Analytics / Google Analytics, with your consent). Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
6. Your Rights & How to Exercise Them
You may access, export, correct, delete your personal data and withdraw consent. Use "Export my data" and "Delete my data" on the My Orders page (verified by your booking email and order ID): after deletion, personal identifiers in orders are anonymised (financial records retained as required by law), and member profiles, inquiry leads and newsletter records are deleted. 7. Minors
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors; please contact us if you believe a minor's data has been collected so we can delete it promptly.
8. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated periodically. The latest version will be published here with an updated date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the website or via email.
